Conancht Rugby Road show for Castlebar

Connacht Rugby are on the road on a series of road-shows meeting with clubs, schools, businesses and supporters throughout the Province, with the latest event taking place this Thursday, November 15, in The Harlequin Hotel in Castlebar.

In the past year Connacht Rugby has undergone a very exciting period both on and off the field. The recently established Professional Games Board (PGB) has worked closely with the team at Connacht Rugby to make improvements to all areas of the club including facilities, marketing and squad development. In this period there have been a number of new appointments and new signings to the playing squad and academy. These changes provide us with the framework to build on all the work done to date and help establish our province as one of the leading lights in European Rugby.

Now we look to take it one step further. After a period of planning and strategic thinking we are taking to the road in an effort to communicate directly with you, our loyal supporters. This new venture is a unique opportunity to introduce to you our plans for the future of Connacht Rugby.

The Road show events will be attended by CEO Tom Sears, members of the Professional Games Board, Director of Rugby Eric Elwood, Head of Marketing Alex Saul and Connacht Rugby Squad Members.

We invite you to join us on this journey. The events are open to Rugby clubs, schools & businesses throughout the province - players, members, volunteers, friends and all stakeholders around the region. To reserve your place go to http://www.connachtrugby.ie/connacht-roadshow
