Leitrim team for Camogie Feile

This year’s Camogie Feile is been hosted in Dublin. For the first time ever a County Camogie Team from County Leitrim will participate in the Feile.

The team is been hosted by the Commercials Club in Rathcoole. There is twenty three girls from various parts of the county selected to attend this Feile. The team will depart from the Carrick-on-Shannon Community School on Thursday at 9.30am and will return on Saturday afternoon. They are due to travel by coach.

During their stay in Dublin they will play three games, v their host club Commercials, Johnstown Co. Kildare and Longford. The team are in preparation for some time for this Feile and have played a challenge match v Fermanagh which ended in a draw and played Longford in another challenge last Monday.

The team is been trained and coached by Yvonne Beirne Camogie Connaught Council and Miream Cunniffe St. Mary’s Camogie Club Carrick-on-Shannon. Wishing the team all the very best in the Camogie Feile 2012.
