The 4th Carrick 10K Road Race will take place on Sunday, March 4 at 11am.

Registration will be at the Carrick Sports Complex opposite Aura Leisure Centre from 9am on the day, and also from 1-5pm on Saturday, March 3. Parking will be at the Bank of America multi-storey car park.

All runners and walkers are encouraged to enter as early as possible as the numbers are likely to reach 1,000 on the day and many runners have already entered online. There will be a dedicated fast track for runners who are pre-registered and this can be completed on www.runireland.com

Trophies and prizes will be for the first three men and women as well as all veteran age groups from 35 for each 5 years.

There will also be dedicated desks for runners and walkers to enter on the day but pre-entry is encouraged.

Entries can also be completed at Aura Leisure Centre in the days leading up to the race.

There will be full support on the day and any further volunteers can contact the race Directors Chris Callaghan (086-8423610) and Graham Allen (086-8400296) or the Leitrim Sports Partnership. This year’s nominated charity will be the Irish Cancer Society.

There will be refreshments after the event and there will also be an expo at the Sports Complex of local businesses and sponsors to keep you entertained as well as music.

Many thanks to all our sponsors who have supported us both this year and previously including Esquires, Aura, Bank of America, Trailblazers and Leitrim Sports Partnership as well as a myriad of local supporters.
