Lough Key Tri Club

editorial image

Information Nights: The club will be running two information nights - Wednesday, January 16 and Friday, January 18 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in Aura Leisure Centre in Carrick. Individuals who are interested in becoming members are invited to come along and have a chat with some existing club members and get a feel for the sport and also get a copy of the training timetable etc.

Membership: Club membership for existing members is now due for renewal (€15) and must be purchased online (www.triathlonireland.com) to ensure that you still have 3rd party insurance for all your training - only members who renew their membership will continue to get Club emails and be allowed to partake in the Saturday morning training cycles etc.

Training: There were a couple of small changes made to the weekly training timetable at the last club meeting and Donal has sent out a revised copy to all members. If you have not received please contact Donal/Mark/Roy ASAP.

Sunday Morning Duathlons: For the month of January we are having a beginners duathlon session in Lough Key at 10.30am. Existing members are invited to attend also to give a hand on the mornings. Anyone can come along for 3 sessions before they need to pay membership, they just need to sign a waiver.

Buy and sell: The club has a ‘Buy and Sell’ section on the club website (www.loughkeytri.com) where there are some good offers on second hand gear existing club members are selling.
