he Tinkers Curse' is a deeply moving and dramatic story about a travelling man who climbs Croagh Patrick to do penance for the sins of a lifetime. It is a play of laughter and joy, brimming with fun and rich imaginative language, as Mikey reveals the sequence of tragic events that lead to his own ultimate destruction. Michael Harding was awarded Best Actor at Dublin Theatre Fringe Festival (2003) and nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the British Management Awards in London.
The Post Show Talk will give people an opportunity to ask questions, express opinions and discuss both the theatre piece and the wider subject of nomadic life, Irish Travellers and the settled community. It will prove to be a fascinating, entertaining and educational early afternoon in the theatre.
