Leitrim athletes performed exceptionally well at the Irish Life Health Athletics Ireland National Senior and Juvenile Even Age Championships in Abbottstown on Sunday, November 26 last, with five top 30 performances.
Kinlough native Teresa Doherty, running for Finn Valley, finished 8th in the Senior Ladies, Carrick AC's Lauren Reynolds 17th in the U16 Ladies, brothers Patrick & Declan Kennedy 26th and 29th in the U12 Boys and North Leitrim's Niamh Carolan 28th in the U14 Ladies race.
