Leitrim singer/songwriter Eoin Kenny released his debut single This Life earlier this month.
This Life is described as being a reflection on the bittersweet reality of friends moving abroad, capturing the emotional tug-of-war between the allure of new horizons and the comforting embrace of home.
Eoin said he wrote it after many of his friends moved to Australia, Canada, and the US.
The artist describes his sound as a "unique blend of folk music with a modern twist". The singer explained: "For years, I have been writing songs focused on several topics, such as love/loss, emigration, direction of life, and so on."
Eoin continued: "After a break, I began performing again last February, reigniting my passion for live performance.
Since then, Eoin Kenny has played several gigs around Dublin and was recently recommended by Christy Moore through his Facebook profile.
Eoin said he has seen his social media following grow by over a thousand across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok and continues to rise as he prepare for a series of upcoming shows.
In addition to "This Life," Eoin Kenny will return to the studio in December to work on a new EP, which is slated for release in the new year.
