The Lough Rynn Harvest Festival & Vintage Day, takes place on Sunday August 25.

The annual event will be held in it’s ‘spiritual home’ at Lough Rynn Castle Estate & Gardens.

The festival, which is organised by Bornacoola Development Association, has officially launched the new date along with the programme of activities for the festival. The day is affiliated to the Irish Vintage Society and is firmly established amongst community and vintage organisations nationwide.

Established in 1994, the festal returned to its original home of Lough Rynn Castle grounds in 2012, after an eight-year absence.

The annual vintage display will feature cars motorbikes and agricultural machinery, there will be a threshing display as well as a series of craft stands and demonstrations. There will also be a wide range of entertainment, including The Guinness Swing Band, street theatre, hot-air balloon demonstration, shuttle bus simulator and more.

As part of the festival’s return to the Lough Rynn Castle Estate, added features include guided tours of the Lough Rynn walled gardens, BBQ Pig and full bar facilities.

Admission is €10 per adult, €5 for Students and children under the age of 12 are free.

Activities get underway at 12pm and will run until 6pm on August 25.

FREE car parking right beside the all-weather main venue, visitors can be assured of hassle free parking, fast entry and a pleasurable experience of Irish vintage culture.
