The King of Country Music in Ireland Big Tom McBride will perform at the Midsummers Day with the Stars at Roscommon Racecourse on Sunday, June 26.
Big Tom will join Monaghan Man Marty Moane who topped the charts with 'Hit the Diff' at the event which is now the largest of its kind in Ireland.
Later this year Big Tom will celebrate his 80th birthday. His songs include Four Country Roads, Gentle Mother and Lonesome at your Table have been constant chart toppers here in Ireland for close on half a century. It’s expected that the Racecourse performance will be his only one in Roscommon for the foreseeable future.
It follows recent sell out shows in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Tickets for the event are on ticketmaster.ie and at Mulvey’s Carrick-on-Shannon.
