The greatest family comedian of his generation proudly presents an Evening of Nostalgia with a presentation of ‘Funny Pieces’ that will have the audience rolling in the isles with laughter at Lough Rynn Castle Hotel, Mohill on Wednesday January 16 at 8pm.
Brendan’s latest show features a collection of Brendan’s best loved pieces from over the decades. It’s almost a ‘Greatest Hits’ style show that is sure to delight and thrill the many aficionados who love his mastery of a craft that he has perfected over the years. No surprise that critics frequently credit him with the title ‘Grand Master of Comedy.’ In more recent times Brendan has managed to attract a younger audience, mainly because the content of his show is suitable for all the family and also because of his hilarious appearance on Fr. Ted when he ‘played a blinder’ in the role of the extraordinary Fr. Fintan Stack.
Apart from his obvious ‘star quality’ in all aspects of his performance Brendan’s drawing power is enormous and the ‘House Full’ sign is the norm rather than the exception at his concerts.
The genial Dubliner has a very special bond with Irish audiences and is much loved by young and old not least because he gives very generously of his time after each Concert.
The ‘Meet and Greet’ is now very much part and parcel of each show and Brendan’s very down to earth approach is much appreciated by all.
There’s no cynicism, vulgarity or meanness in a Brendan Grace show. He maintains a gold bar standard that leaves others trailing in his slipstream. That is why that after all these years he is the undisputed king of comedy in Ireland.
The winner of the Leitrim Observer Brendan Grace competition is Anna Maxwell from Ballinamore. Anna won two tcikets to the concert on Janaury 16.
