Some items that were stolen from Leitrim Steel and Shuttering's Yard on July 15 have been recovered, it was revealed today with the company owners appealing to "people to continue to look out for the Renault Master van - 161 D 1594 with distinctive red stripes on the back and front, a Yamaha r6 blue motorbike and a number of concrete finishing tools such as a handheld power float, screeds, chainsaw, power washer, amongst others. We are also interested in a gate which may have fallen off the trailer in transit that night."
They added: "If anyone is offered any of these items for sale, please contact Gardaí."
The Leitrim Observerreported on the robbery back in mid-July that the Ballinamore company had tens of thousands worth of equipment stolen in the early hours of Tuesday, July 15 between the hours of 12 and 6am.
Dara Reynolds of Leitrim Steel and Shuttering said the Gardaí have worked "night and day" to retrieve the stolen goods and said that the "Renault Master van - 161 D 1594 - with red reflective stripes all down the back of it is still missing" as well as the Yamaha r6 blue motorbike.
Gardaí are continuing to investigate the theft and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
