Cllr Ita Reynolds Flynn called on Leitrim county council to review the speed limit and associated signage at Cornageeha Cross stating that "it is a danger".

Cllr Reynold Flynn stated that she has been contacted by a number of bus drivers "because it is so dangerous there".
She said that traffic on the road has "tripled in the last number of years from Cloone going towards Longford".

She asked if the council could determine how much traffic volumes have increased over the years. "It is a danger and the bus has to turn, come down at Sean's Cross, turn at the other cross and reverse back out."
District engineer, Emma Donohoe said she that traffic counters could be put in place which would measure and count vehicles passing along a road to gather data on traffic volume, speed, and vehicle type. She added she would also have the signage in the area looked at.
