Errew Graveyard
Cllr Paddy O'Rourke asked that Leitrim County Council to remove overhanging trees surrounding the council graveyard at Errew, Carrigallen, saying that "families who have relatives buried there are concerned the trees could fall on the headstones which would be very distressing quite apart from the cost of replacement which would be necessary."
The response said that the District Office will assess the trees at the council graveyard at Errew Carrigallen and take appropriate
steps to address any issues with overhanging trees that are in poor health.

Cllr O'Rourke said: "There is a boundary fence made of native trees such as ash, white thorns and there is concern about the health of those trees and should they fall the damage they might do to family tombstones."
