Gardaí are investigating the Leitrim burglary
A garda investigation is underway after the reported burglary of a home in Leitrim.
The incident occurred at a house on Willowfield Road, Ballinamore sometime between 4pm and 7.15pm on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
The burglary was reported to gardaí in Leitrim and it is not believed that anything was stolen during the incident.
A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí received a report of a burglary at a house on Willowfield Road, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim, which occurred sometime between 4pm and 7:15pm on February 12, 2026.
“A technical examination of the scene was conducted.
“Investigations are ongoing,” the spokesperson added.

If anyone has any information or saw any suspicious vehicles or persons during the relevant times, they are urged to contact gardaí in Carrick on Shannon on 071 9650510.
