Debenhams is set to pull out of Ireland according to a report on RTE this afternoon.

The company temporarily closed all 11 of its stores in March as a result of the Covid-19 restrictions.

However, RTE are reporting that the company has informed its Irish staff today that it will not be reopening the stores when those restrictions are lifted.

A liquidator is to be appointed to the Irish operations in the coming days.
