As it’s the season of love, we talk to real-life couples about married life, getting a perspective from those who have been married for a number of years while also hearing from another couple who are preparing for their big day.

We also feature designer Margaret Coyne from Dowra who discusses her passion for bespoke fashion and her experience of taking part in Paris Fashion Week.

Meanwhile, Leitrim botanical artist Anna-Marie O’Rourke explains the technical skills needed to turn the study of fields and hedgerows into drawings, prints and textiles.

Content creator Martha Gilheaney, who recently started documenting the renovation of a 100 year old home in Leitrim on social media, reveals the items in her bag.

Lorna Thompson of Lorna Thompson Cakes reveals how she ended up baking for a living and how she keeps her skills sharp, while Leitrim Guardian Person of the Year, Gerry Farrell, takes us through his fascinating Journey to the Job.

Plenty of exciting events are taking place across the county in the months ahead, and The Calendar is full of our recommendations for the best ones across theatre, art, music and mystery.

Be sure to give it a read for inspiration!

With spring in the air and plenty to look forward to, we hope you enjoy this latest edition of Leitrim Life.
