Two men and a teenager were arrested as part of a garda investigation into an assault incident that occurred in Carrick-on-Shannon recently, gardaí have confirmed.
Gardaí received a report of an assault incident that occurred at approximately 12.30am on the 20th of September 2024 on Bridge Street in Carrick-On-Shannon, Co. Leitrim.
Two men, one aged in his 20s and another in his 30s, were conveyed to Sligo Hospital for treatment for injuries sustained as a result of this incident.
Two men aged in their 50s were arrested in relation to this incident and have since been released pending the file being sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A male juvenile aged in his teens was also arrested in connection with this incident and later released pending a referral to the Garda Youth Diversion Office.
A garda spokesperson confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
