Leitrim councillor Irene Guckian Rabbitte asked the council to confirm the current status of the proposed Greyway route between the villages of Rooskey and Dromod and asked when it would commence and what was the estimated completion date.

She was advised that the Rooskey to Dromod Greyway received Part 8 Planning approval in September 2024 and that the council then made an Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS) application under measure 3 for funding to construct this scheme and are currently awaiting a decision on this and hope to hear an announcement in the next few months.
