Leitrim Co Council offices in Carrick-on-Shannon
Some public counters normally open to the public will be closed in Leitrim this morning, Leitrim Co Council has confirmed.
The council outlined that the motor tax, cash desk and housing public counters will be closed on Monday morning 15th December 2025 to facilitate staff training.
Public counter opening hours on Monday 15th December 2025 are as follows:
Motor Tax: 09.30am – 1.00pm CLOSED
Cash Desk: 9.30am – 1.00pm CLOSED and 2.00pm – 4.30pm OPEN
Housing Office: 9.30am – 1.00pm CLOSED and 2.00pm - 4.30pm OPEN

Normal public counter opening hours will resume on Tuesday 16th December 2025.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause," a statement from Leitrim Co Council read.
