The Governor of the Central Bank, Gabriel Makhlouf, hosted a lunch event for a Carrick Chamber delegation in The Landmark Hotel, The Governor of the Central Bank, Gabriel Makhlouf, hosted a lunch event for a Carrick Chamber delegation in The Landmark Hotel, Leitrim, on Thursday, February 12th. The Chamber group was led by Brendan Lowe who welcomed the Governor to Carrick. Following an address by the Governor, a wide-ranging discussion ensued on matters affecting business locally, regionally, in the wider economy and especially on issues like , on Thursday, February 12th.

The Chamber group was led by Brendan Lowe who welcomed the Governor to Carrick. Following an address by the Governor, a wide-ranging discussion ensued on matters affecting business locally, regionally, in the wider economy and especially on issues like infrastructure and connectivity. The Governor concluded by presenting the Chamber with a limited edition €15 silver proof coin marking 100 years since George Bernard Shaw won the Nobel Prize for Literature which Brendan Lowe accepted.
