The Acute Psychiatric Unit at Cavan General Hospital is closed to admissions and visitors due to an outbreak of COVID-19.
A HSE spokesperson explained, "A public health risk assessment has been carried out to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents and staff. All public health guidelines and advice is being followed. Further updates will issue as the situation evolves."
