Tributes have poured in after a Leitrim man sadly passed away in Australia recently.
Eugene (Gene) Kelly was from Tullaghan in Leitrim and died in Sydney, Australia on 9th September 2025.
He was the dearly beloved husband of Glennis, much loved brother of Roger, Aidan and, Ann and he is sadly missed and forever loved and remembered by his loving wife, brothers, sister, brother-in-law sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and all his many relatives and friends.
Heartfelt messages have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and loved Gene, with one mourner writing,
"Since sympathy on the very sad loss of your brother, Ann and family, thinking of you all at this difficult time".

Another message said, "We wish to offer our sincere sympathy to the Kelly Family on the death of their beloved Gene .
May Gene Rest in Peace".
