The following deaths have taken place in Leitrim and surrounding areas:

William O'Boy, Glenburn, Cartown, Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim

William O'Boy, Glenburn, Cartown, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim. June 2nd 2018 (peacefully) at Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, Rooskey. Pre-deceased by his brother Pat, sisters Kathleen and Molly. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Olive, sons Keiron and Stephen, daughters-in-law Maxine and Mags, granddaughter Shannon, sisters Bridie and Nancy, brother Michael, sister-in-law Agnes, nieces, nephews, relatives and Friends. Reposing at Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, Rooskey on Monday evening from 4 o'clock until 6 o'clock with removal on Tuesday morning to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Drumsna, arriving for Mass of Christian burial at 12 o'clock with funeral afterwards to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan followed by cremation at 3 o'clock. No flowers by request. House private please.

Margaret (Maggie) Glancy, Townabo, Carrick-on-Shannon, Roscommon

The death has occurred of Margaret (Maggie) Glancy of Selby, North Yorkshire who died on May 14th. Predeceased by her husband Sean Glancy formerly of Townabo, Carrick-on-Shannon,Co. Roscommon. Sadly missed by her daughters Mary, Celia, Alice and son John, brother, sisters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends. Removal on Tuesday 5th June to St. Mary's Immaculate Church, Aughrim arriving at 6 pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday 6th June at 12 noon with burial immediately afterwards to Aughrim Cemetery . Family flowers only please

Virginia (Gin) Kavanagh (née Kelleher), Glasnevin, Dublin / Leitrim

Kavanagh, (nee Kelleher) (Glasnevin and formerly of Leitrim) – June,1st 2018 (peacefully) in the tender care of the staff of Beneavin House Nursing Home. Virginia (Gin), very deeply regretted by her devoted husband Bill, loving mother of Adrienne, Mel, Enda and Justin. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, daughter, sons, son-in-law Martin, daughters-in-law Debbie, Tracy and Celia, her cherished grandchildren Ruby, Flyn, Jemma, Molly and Axel who adored their Granny Gin, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Fanagan's Funeral Home, Church Street, Finglas, on Monday. Removal on Tuesday morning (June 5th) to Our Lady of Victories Church, Ballymun Road, arriving for 11.30 am Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Dardistown Cemetery.

Margaret Rose Gralton (née Early), Shancurry, Drumshanbo, Leitrim

Margaret Rose Gralton, Luton, Bedfordshire, England and Shancurry, Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim. 14th May 2018. Peacefully at Keech Hospice, Luton. Loving wife of Jim, loving and devoted mother to Louise, Sarah, James,and Paul. Loving grandmother to Alex, James, and Mir. Loving sister of Ann, Jane, and John, brothers in Law, sisters in Law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s church Drumshanbo on Sunday morning with burial afterwards to Kiltoghert new cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired to The north west hospice, Sligo.

Michael Hedley, Dromod, Leitrim

Michael, (formerly England), passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his wife Rosemary (Nee Seery), daughter Paula, granddaughter Emma. He will be sadly missed by his loving daughter Karen (Brown), grandsons Tom and Daniel, sons-in-law Tony and Pete, brothers-in-law Frank and Pat Seery, sister-in-law Anne, nieces, extended family and friends. Reposing in John Healy's Chapel of Rest, Rochfortbridge on Sunday from 6-7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, June 4 in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rochfortbridge at 11am followed by cremation in Mount Jerome.
