Deaths in Leitrim.

The following deaths have taken place in Leitrim and surrounding areas:

Jimmy Duffy, In the care of staff in Muiriosa Foundation, Knockoine View, Crookedwood, Mullingar, Westmeath / Moyne, Longford

Formerly of Aughaga, Moyne, Co Longford. Predeceased by his parents and sister. Peacefully in Mullingar General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Jimmy will be forever remembered by his brothers Pat (Aughaga) and Brian (Derries, Killeshandra), sisters Mary (Cork) and Anna Mulligan (Clones), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, carers and friends. Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, today Monday 17th from 5pm until 8pm with prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass in St Francis Xavier's Church, Moyne, on Tuesday 18th at 12 noon, followed with burial in Colmcille Cemetery, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford.

John Beirne, Knockglass, Ballinameen, Boyle, Roscommon

Peacefully at Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle. Sadly missed by his brothers Cyril and Tommy, nephews, nieces, sister in-law, relatives and a large circle of friends. Reposing at Mahon's Funeral Home, Boyle on Tuesday, September 18th from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock. Removal to St. Attracta's Church, Ballinameen, arriving at 8 o'clock. Mass of Christian burial on Wednesday at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to Caldra Cemetery.

Laurence (Larry) Flatley, St. Bridget`s Terrace, Bundoran, Donegal

Laurence Flatley, known as Larry, St. Bridget's Terrace, East End, Bundoran, Co. Donegal, peacefully on Saturday 15th September 2018 at the Sheil Hospital, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. Removal on Monday morning at 10.30am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, burial afterwards in St. Ninnidh's Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran.

Dermot Breen, Millbrook, Kinlough, Leitrim / Sligo Town, Sligo / Enniskillen, Fermanagh

Suddenly and peacefully at his residence. Dearly loved husband of Rosaleen.Sadly missed by his wife, brothers Ernest and Kenneth, sisters Marie and Evelyn (Enniskillen), brother-in-law Jimmy, sisters-in-law Noelle, Sandra, Joan Glimartin (Sligo),  Kathleen McEaney (Dundalk) and Delia Lynch (Northampton), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Funeral will arrive to the Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception for Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 11:30am with burial afterwards in Sligo Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Irish Heart Foundation.

John Joe Glynn, Cleen, Knockvicar, Roscommon

Peacefully, in the care of the staff at Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Lucy, his niece Helena, his nephews Joseph, Seán, Joseph, John and Seamus, his nephew-in-law, his nieces-in-law, his relatives, his neighbours and his many friends. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday afternoon at 1pm at St. Patrick’s Church, Crossna. Interment afterwards in Ardcarne Cemetery.
