The following deaths have taken place in Leitrim and surrounding areas:

John McHugh The Neale, Mayo / Leitrim

John McHugh, Twickenham, England and formerly of The Neale, Co Mayo. Funeral Mass at St Patrick's Church, Mohill, Co Leitrim this Saturday 16th at 11 o'clock with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

John (Johnnie) Cremin, formerly of Gortavehy, Rathmore, Kerry / Leitrim

Suddenly at his home, depply regretted by his sister Kathleen Dineen, (Ballydaly) and his brother Con (Nealie), (Birmingham, England), nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ballydaly, on Saturday at 12 noon.

Shane McRann, Mountallen, Drumshanbo, Roscommon

In loving memory of Shane McRann died at St. James' Hospital, after a long illness. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Nellie and his sister Evelyn. Sadly missed by his sisters Angela, Frances, Monica and Mia, niece Ella, nephews Fergal and Dereck, brother-in-laws TP, Pauric,Darryl and Derek, long standing friend and staff member Patricia, relatives, neighbours and friends.  Removal today Saturday 16th February to the Church of the Nativity, Keadue, for funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial immediately afterwards in old cemetery, Drumshambo. Joe Ward, Clongowney, Mullingar, Westmeath / Mohill, Leitrim

Joe Ward, Clongowney, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Drumcolligan, Mohill, Co. Leitrim. (retd. An Garda Siochána) suddenly at Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar. February 12th 2019. Predeceased by his brother Tom. Joe will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Helen (McCormack), sister Bernadette, cousin Anna, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12pm in Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar followed by burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Marlinstown, Mullingar. Family flowers only please. Harriet (Ciss) Harkness, Drumbullion, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan, Friday, February 15th, 2019, peacefully, in Cavan General Hospital. Deeply regretted by her loving brother Sam, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and all the family circle. Funeral Service in Drumkeeran Presbyterian Church tomorrow, Sunday afternoon, at 12.30pm followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.

Stanley Magee, Blackwater House, St. Davnet’s, Monaghan / Killeshandra, Cavan

Stanley Magee, Blackwater House, St. Davnet’s, Monaghan and formerly of Laheen, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan, Thursday, February 14th, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at Blackwater House. Stanley will be sadly missed by his brothers, sisters-in-law, nephews and their spouses, relatives, all the family circle and most especially the staff and all his friends in Blackwater House. Funeral Service in Killegar Parish Church, today Saturday afternoon, at 2.30pm, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.

Anthony Cull, Castlefore, Keshcarrigan, Leitrim

Suddenly, at Sligo University Hospital. Beloved son of Dympna and Gerard. Deeply regretted by his loving sister Nicole, grandmother Polly, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home on Saturday 16th February from 2-7pm. Removal to St. Mary's Church, Foxfield on Sunday for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Drumcong Cemetery.
