The following deaths have taken place in Leitrim and surrounding areas:

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Eileen and son Martin, brothers Pat Joe (Gowel) Micheál and Kevin (Drumlitten), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Nuala Galligan, Duncarbery, Tullaghan, Leitrim

Nuala Galligan, Duncarbery, Tullaghan, Co Leitrim, peacefully on 15th February 2019, after a short illness, in the exceptional care of The North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo. Beloved wife of the late Michael Galligan. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Ruth, Michelle and Joanne, sons in law Cian and Michael, her beloved grandchildren, sister Mary (Clancy), nieces, nephews, and all her relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her late residence today, Sunday, from 1pm to 6pm. House private at all other times, please. Removal on Monday morning to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Tullaghan, Co Leitrim for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, burial afterwards in St. Aidan's Cemetery, Kinlough, Co Leitrim.

Margaret Sweeney (née Rudden), Tullyoscar, Ballinamore, Leitrim

Formerly Belturbet, Co. Cavan. Friday, February 15th peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank, her daughter Maura and her sister Lil. She will be sadly missed by her son Eamon (Nuala McLoughlin), her daughter Muire (David Ahern), her grandchildren Mark, Niall, Niamh, Brian, Lochlainn & Sadhbh, her brothers Pat & Connor, brother-in-law Phil Sheridan, sisters-in-law Breda and Nora, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at her home this Sunday afternoon from 1pm until 4pm (House private at all other times please). Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballinamore on Sunday evening arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 noon followed by burial in Oughteragh Cemetery.

Stephen Murray, Killukin, Carrick-on-Shannon, Roscommon

Stephen Murray, Killukin, Elphin Road, Carrick on Shannon, Co Roscommon.In the tender loving care of the nurses and staff at St. Patrick’s Hospital, Carrick On Shannon. Beloved husband of the late Sheila, predeceased by his sisters Margaret Garrahan and Agnes Shannon and his brother John Joe. Deeply regretted by his daughters Geraldine, Rosemary and Sheila, sons Sean, Frank and Paddy, sons in law, daughters in law, brother in law, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence on Sunday from 2:30pm to 5:30pm with removal to St. Michael’s Church, Drumlion, arriving at 7.00pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Drumlion Cemetery.

Harriet (Ciss) Harkness, Drumbullion, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan, Friday, February 15th, 2019, peacefully, in Cavan General Hospital. Deeply regretted by her loving brother Sam, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and all the family circle. Funeral Service in Drumkeeran Presbyterian Church tomorrow, Sunday afternoon, at 12.30pm followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.

Anthony Cull, Castlefore, Keshcarrigan, Leitrim

Suddenly, at Sligo University Hospital. Beloved son of Dympna and Gerard. Deeply regretted by his loving sister Nicole, grandmother Polly, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. Removal to St. Mary's Church, Foxfield on Sunday for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Drumcong Cemetery.
