Deaths in Leitrim.

The following deaths have taken place in Leitrim and surrounding areas:

John Fanning, Greagh, Foxfield, Fenagh, Leitrim

In St. Phelim's Nursing Home, Dromahair. Reposing at Shivnan's Funeral Home, Ballyfarnan from 10am to 11am on Monday, 25 February, followed by removal to St. Mary's Church, Foxfield, for Funeral Mass at 12.00 noon. Burial afterwards in Fenagh Abbey Cemetery.

Kitty Keany, The Village, Glenfarne, Leitrim

Predeceased by her husband Frank and daughter-in-law Marian. Sadly missed by her loving daughters Ann, Martina & Catherine, sons John, Prionsias, Paddy, Michael & Paul; son-in-law Reggie; grandchildren Cormac & Aisling; sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and extended family. Reposing at Our Lady's Hospital Chapel, Manorhamilton from 2.30 to 6.30 today, Sunday, followed by removal to St Mary’s Church, Glenfarne, arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 noon with interment in adjoining cemetery.

Susan Dunne Liosamble, Ballindine, Mayo / Glenfarne, Leitrim

Susan Dunne (suddenly) Liosamble, Ballindine and late of Glenfarne, Co. Leitrim. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Ambrose, son Gerard and daughter Caroline, sister Kay and brother Peter, son-in-law Seamus, grandchildren Laura-Ann, Liam, Niall, Aoibheann and Dara, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Remains will arrive to St Joseph’s Church, Ballindine today, Sunday for Funeral Mass at 1pm followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium.No flowers by request Donations to Tuam Cancer Care. House private  today, Sunday, please.

Fran Faulkner (née Gilmartin) Shanvas, Manorhamilton, Leitrim

After a short illness in the care of the North West Cancer Centre, Derry. Predeceased by her father Thomas, her mother Anna and her brother Patrick. Sadly missed by her loving husband Neil, her daughter Aisling, her son Jack, by her brothers, her sisters, her step father Seamus, her sisters-in-law, her brothers-in-law, her uncles and aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Removal today, Sunday, February 24 to St. Osnat's Church, Glencar for Funeral Mass at 1.30pm, followed by burial in Diffreen Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Sligo Cancer Support Centre c/o Murphy & Fox Funeral Directors.
