Thomas (Tom) McGovern, Dublin / Aughavas, Co Leitrim
Thomas (Tom) McGovern, Conor Clune Road, Navan Road, Dublin 7, and formerly of Aughavas, Co. Leitrim, on Friday, March 1st, 2019, after a short illness in the tender care of the staff of Beaumont Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Eileen, and much loved father of Elaine, Niall and Marie, he will be sadly missed by his devoted wife and children, brothers Pat (Newtowngore), Philip (Dublin), Michael (Carrgallen), Leo (Aughavas), sister Anne (Doyle, Mohill) nieces, nephews, relatives, and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at his residence on Sunday from 2pm to 8pm, and again on Monday from 12pm to 3pm. Removal to The Church of Our Lady Help Of Christians, Navan Road, on Monday evening, arriving at 5pm. Funeral Mass at 10am on Tuesday with burial afterwards in Glasnevin Cemetery.
Brendan (John) Doherty, Dublin / Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim
Brendan (John) Doherty, Beaumont, Dublin, formerly of Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim and late of the Law Dept. of Dublin City Council on Friday, March 1st 2019 (peacefully) at home in the loving care of his wife and family and his Carer May, brother of the late Vincent; sadly missed by his beloved wife Eileen, his loving children Mary, Kathleen, Ailish, Michael, Andreina and Noeleen, cherished by his 12 grandchildren and great-granddaughter, sister Rose, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, good friend Noel, niece, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Reposing in Lanigan’s Funeral Home, 21 Beaumont Road on Sunday (March 3rd) from 2 pm to 5 pm. (With Family in attendance) Removal on Monday morning (March 4th) to the Church of the Holy Child, Swords Road, Whitehall arriving at 9.50 am for Mass at 10 am. Funeral afterwards to Dardistown Crematorium.
Frances McDermott, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim
The death has occurred of Frances McDermott, Curraghfore, Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim, peacefully at Sligo Regional Hospital in her 91st year. Pre-deceased by her husband Paddy. Sadly missed by her daughters Christina Connolly (London), Bernadette Faherty (Galway), Frances O'Dowd (Ballymote), Jenny (Manorhamilton), her sons Michael (Calry), Patrick and Larry (Manorhamilton), Peter (Westport), Charlie (London), her sister Helen O'Connor (Galway), her brothers Brian and Jimmy (USA), her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her family home on Saturday from 1.30pm to 4pm and from 5pm to 7pm. Removal to St. Clare's Church, Manorhamilton for Funeral Mass on Sunday at 1.30pm followed by burial in Kilmakerrill Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to North West Hospice, Sligo.
Tony McGarry, Sooey, Co. Sligo / Dromahair, Co. Leitrim
Tony McGarry, Coola, Sooey, Co Sligo and formerly Market Street, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at his residence today, Saturday, from 5pm to 9pm. Removal to the Church of Assumption, Sooey on Sunday for Funeral Mass at 1pm with burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Sooey.
Peter Reynolds, Gortletteragh, Co Leitrim
Peter Reynolds, Fearglass, Drumlish PO, Co. Leitrim, peacefully in Mullingar General Hospital following a short illness on Thursday, 28th February 2019. Late of Leitrim County Council. Predeceased by his infant daughter Patricia. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Rosaleen, sons Sean, Peadar, Enda, daughters Jeanne, Margaret, Laura, sister Mary (USA), nephews, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, 12 grandchildren, sister-in-law, neighbours, family and friends.
Reposing in Our Lady's Manor Nursing Home, Edgeworthstown on Sunday from 4pm to 7pm. Removal on Monday morning to St. Thomas's Church, Fearglass for funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Gortletteragh Cemetery.

Sean Roche, Leam, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, on Friday, March 1st 2019. Peacefully at North West Hospice, Sligo. Predeceased by his parents John and Molly Roche. Sadly missed by his sister Mary Egan (Knockavroe, Boyle) and brother Padraig (Dublin), niece Lorraine and nephew Niall, Lorraine's husband Laurence, cousins and a large circle of friends.
Reposing Mahon's Funeral Home, Boyle on Sunday evening 4 o'clock to 6.30 o'clock, arriving St. Joseph's Church 7 o'clock. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11 o'clock. Funeral afterwards to Assylinn Cemetery.
