The following deaths have occurred in the Leitrim area:

Bridget ( Bridgie) McNamara (née Kiernan) Camber, Cloone, Leitrim / Aughnacliffe, Longford

The death has occurred of Bridget (Bridgie) McNamara née Kiernan of Camber, Cloone, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Fostra, Aughnacliffe, Co. Longford who passed away suddenly at her residence on Wednesday 13th March, 2019. Predeceased by her brother John-Joe Kiernan ( Aughnacliffe). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband; Pat, her children; Patrick (Australia), Michael Joe (Dublin), Breege (Carrick-on-Shannon), Oliver ( Cloone), Mary Therese ( Gortletteragh), Carmel (Mohill), Paul (Galway) and Declan ( Cloone), brothers; Jim Kiernan ( Leixlip), Oliver Kiernan, (Luton, England), sisters-in-law, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her 22 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives neighbours and friends. Funeral arrangements later.

Sheila Mitchell (nee O’Brien), Newtowngore, Leitrim

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford. Predeceased by her husband Danny, son Kevin and grandson Kevin. Sheila will be sadly missed by her sons Patrick and John, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sister Eileen (Brennan, Arva), sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Funeral Mass St. Mary's Church, Drumeela today,Thursday (14th) morning at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Henry J. (Harry) Wynne, Lissadell, Carrick Road, Boyle, Roscommon

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and the wonderful care of the staff at University Hospital Sligo. Cherished husband of Marie, beloved father of Nicola, Paul and Jonathan adored grandfather of Harry, Marcus, Amanda, Leonie, Lucie, Georgina and Timothee. Sadly, missed by son-in- law Vlad, daughters-in-law Susan and Niamh, brother Christy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends. Mass of the Resurrection in St. Joseph's Church, Boyle, today, Thursday 14th March at 12 o'clock. Burial afterwards in Assylinn Cemetery, Boyle.Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Oncology Unit, Sligo University Hospital, c/o Mahon's Funeral Directors, Boyle.House strictly private Thursday morning, please.
