The following deaths have occurred in the Leitrim area:

Kevin Simpson, Dromahair, Leitrim / Ballygawley, Sligo

Formerly of Ballygawley, Co. Sligo. (Ex Garda Siochana, Ballymote, Co. Sligo.) Unexpectedly. Sadly missed by his wife Sally, sons Ciaran and Cathal, daughter Evanna, relatives and friends. Funeral and Cremation to take place privately at Kevin’s request. Memorial Mass Will take place on Friday 22nd March at 8pm in Saint Patrick’s Church, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim. Norman (Frederick Arthur) Moore, Arva, Cavan

Norman (Frederick Arthur) MOORE Arva, Co. Cavan - March 16, 2019, in his 94th year, at his home, in the loving care of his family, Norman (Frederick Arthur), ex Bank of Ireland, much loved husband of Sighle and loving father of Declan, Ronan, Kieran, Fiona, Gary, Siog and Barry; sadly missed by his sister Eíthne, brother Maurice, sisters-in-law Jenny and Sigbrit, daughters-in-law Síobhan, Ann and Sheena, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a wide circle of friends. Funeral Mass today (Monday 18th), in Church of the Sacred Heart, Arva at 12 noon, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan. No flowers please. Donations in lieu to Irish Cancer Society.

Sheila Mc Govern (née Shannon), Snugborough, Ballyconnell, Cavan

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Sean, son Shane, daughters Sinead & Déarbhla, father Tommy, sisters Mary, Kathleen, Breege, Geraldine, Rita, Caroline & Dympna, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends. Funeral mass today, Monday at 11am in Our Lady of Lourdes church, Ballyconnell. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. 

James Cooke, Lower Deerpark, Boyle, Roscommon

Suddenly, at Sligo University Hospital. Predeceased by his brother Nick. Surrounded in the loving care of his wife Elizabeth and his sons Seamus, Adrian, Declan, Kieran and Colm, grandchildren, Conor, Aisling, Ciara, Aidan, Cliona, Lauren and Sophie, daughters-in-law Shirlie, Marie, Lissa, Edwina and Emma, mother Betty, sisters Mary, Thersa and Debby, brother Kevin, nieces and nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. Removal to St. Joseph's Church, Boyle, for Mass of the Resurrection today, Monday at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to Assylinn Cemetery, Boyle. House private this morning. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Irish Motor Neuron Association, to any family member or Mahon's Undertakers.
