Two arrests have been made following a theft in South Leitrim last Friday.
A number of items were reported stolen from a car in Drumshanbo on Friday, August 8, at approximately 7:30pm.
It is understood that these items have since been recovered.
“A man in his 40s and a male youth were arrested,” said An Garda Síochána in a statement. “They were scheduled to appear in front of the Ballyshannon District Court at a special sitting on Saturday, August 9, at 7pm”
Gardaí also stated that it is now a matter for the courts, with no further information available.
