Gardaí have confirmed heating oil was stolen in Drumcong/Drumshanbo area and urge residents to secure tanks and report any suspicious activity immediately.

There has been an incident involving the theft of home heating oil in the South Leitrim area.

Gardaí have confirmed that they received a report of home heating oil being stolen from a residence in the Drumcong/Drumshanbo area. They are advising residents to ensure their fuel tanks are properly secured and to report any suspicious activity without delay.

Suspicious activity can be reported by contacting your local 24-hour Garda station. Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Station can be reached at 071 96 50510.
