Student chef Daniel Lambert wins gold, silver and bronze awards

Daniel Lambert, from Cormongan, Drumshanbo, is a year two Culinary Arts student at the LYIT School of Tourism, Killybegs.

Daniel recently competed in Chef Ireland at CATEX 2019 and won 1 Bronze Medal in the Duck Competition Open Class 1 Silver Medal as part of a team of two in the Mystery Basket Competition Open Class 1 Gold Medal and best in class as part of a team of two in Butchery Larder Skills (Lamb) and Cookery Relay Competition.

Daniel, who studied at Lough Allen College, Drumkeerin, is currently working as a chef in Harvey's Point hotel and restaurant in Donegal Town.
