In November, Leitrim’s Landmark Hotel will host the National Beef Conference 2024 bringing together industry experts and farmers to discuss sustainable beef farming.
The conference, themed “Sustainable Beef Farming: Pathways to a Greener Future,” kicks off at 5 PM on Tuesday, November 19, and will host speakers like Professor Pat Dillon, Director of Research at Teagasc.
The conference will host discussions on the topics like the impact of red and white clover on animal performance, nutrient management to increase efficiency, and how to address environmental pressures in farming. Meanwhile, Dr. John Donlon will also share strategies for controlling pneumonia in suckler weanlings.
