New Leitrim Senior team captain Donal Wrynn and Vice captain Mark Diffley
Fenagh St Caillins Donal Wrynn will captain the Leitrim Senior footballers for a second time with St Mary's Kiltoghert Mark Diffley as his vice-captain after Leitrim GAA announced the news on Tuesday afternoon.
Wrynn captained Leitrim in 2017 and will take over from David Bruen after the Leitrim Gaels clubman decided to take a year out to go travelling. The Fenagh St Caillins clubman was also vice-captain last year.
Mark Diffley from county champions St Mary's Kiltoghert takes over Wrynn's role as vice-captain for the 2023 season which gets underway next Friday evening, January 6, with a clash against reigning Connacht SFC & FBD Insurance League champions and All-Ireland finalists Galway.
