Ballinamore Connacht Gold SFC derby clash with Aughnasheelin moved to 5pm throw-in

GAA fans have the chance to take in two of this week's opening games in the Connacht Gold Leitrim SFC with the news that the derby clash between Ballinamore Sean O'Heslins and Aughnasheelin has been switched to a 5 pm throw-in time.

With all five games in the first round originally scheduled for 7pm, it now means that the clash of year's Intermediate Champions Aughnasheelin and 2021 Senior Championship winners Ballinamore Sean O'Heslins in Corlough will have a 5 pm start.

With Aughawillan's clash against Glencar Manorhamilton taking place at 7pm and less than two and a half miles away from the Corlough ground, it means that some fans will be able to take in both games. Fenagh St Caillins clash with Leitrim Gaels is just under 13 miles away but it would be very tight for fans to make both games.

Pairc Sheain Ui Eslin in Ballinamore is still out of action after an major renovations on the playing surface which means that Sean O'Heslins play their first home championship match of the year at Corlough's superb grounds in west Cavan.
