Melvin Gaels will have a wait to find out who they will face in the 2023 Smith Monumentals Intermediate Championship Final after Saturday's second semi-final between Allen Gaels and Annaduff was called off after a 4pm pitch inspection.
A pitch inspection had been carried out in Cloone earlier in the day with the pitch passed for action but with continuing heavy rain, a second pitch inspection at 4 pm ruled that the game could not proceed.
It leaves both clubs and Leitrim GAA with a fixture headache with the final already fixed for Sunday October 14. If the semi-final went to a replay after extra-time, it would mean the County Final being moved back a week.

Leitrim CCC will announce details of the refixed game in the coming days.
Earlier, Melvin Gaels defeated Kiltubrid 1-6 to 0-6 after a titanic struggle in testing conditions in Shane McGettigan Park. The Drumshanbo pitch stood up remarkably well but the constant rain meant that free-flowing football was at a premium.
The Kinlough men opened up a three point gap early in the second half, the sides having been level at 0-3 apiece at the break. Kiltubrid fought back to close the gap to a point but a Peter McGowan goal in the dying moments sealed Melvin Gaels place in the final.
