Leitrim have a second winner of the prestigious LGFA The Croke Park Hotel Player of the Month award in the span of three months after it was announced that Leitrim and Glencar Manorhamilton forward Leah Fox had scooped the prize for January.
Leah, who was presented with The Croke Park/LGFA Player of the Month award for January 2024 by Ina Lazar, Assistant Director of Sales, The Croke Park on Thursday, joins Ballinamore Sean O'Heslins' Roisin McHugh in picking up the award, McHugh winning the award for November.
Leah has been in outstanding attacking form during the early rounds of the 2024 Lidl National League – with Leitrim sitting proudly on top of the Division 4 standings with three wins from three outings.
Leitrim, runners-up in Division 4 last year, are firmly on course for promotion to Division 3 and Leah’s performances to date have played a key role in her team’s progress.
Leah, 21, from the Glencar Manorhamilton club, scored two points as Leitrim began their 2024 Lidl National League season with victory over Kilkenny.
