Mickey Graham is set to be the new manager of the Leitrim Men's Senior Football team after Leitrim GAA County Board Executive revealed on Monday night that they will recommend the former Ulster Championship winning boss to take over the reins from Andy Moran.

Graham, who famously led his native Cavan to the Ulster Senior Championship title in 2020, served for the last year as a selector under Andy Moran and will now take over the reins from the former Mayo Footballer of the Year who stood down unexpectedly in July.

In a statement released this evening, Leitrim GAA County Board said "Leitrim GAA, at its Management Committee meeting tonight, approved the appointment of Cavan native Mickey Graham to be the Leitrim Senior Football Team Manager for the 2025 season. This is subject to approval at the next meeting of Coiste Chontae Liatroma. It is the intention that this position will be for the next three years, subject to review.

"Mickey has previously been the Assistant Manager in the 2024 season which ended last June and had been the Cavan Senior Football Manager for 5 years previous to that. It is intended that the members of his complete backroom team will be announced once this process has concluded.

"Leitrim GAA would like to take this opportunity to wish Mickey the very best of luck as he plans for the upcoming season."
