The replay of the 2024 Connacht Gold Leitrim SFC Final will take place next Saturday, October 12, at 4pm in Ballinamore's Pairc Sheain Ui Eslin after Sunday's dramatic draw.

Mohill sub Matthew Murphy fisted over the equalising point just over three minutes into added time to rescue a draw for the defending champions after TG4's Man of the Match Paul Honeyman had edged Ballinamore Sean O'Heslins into the lead with just over two minutes of normal time remaining.

The scheduling of the game means that the Fresh Today Junior A Championship Final between Eslin and Bornacoola will switch to Sunday at 1pm in Cloone while the Smith Monumentals IFC Final will take place in Ballinamore, also on Sunday, at 3.30pm.

The Gotham Dry Wall LGFA Senior Championship Final between defending champions Glencar Manorhamilton and St Joseph's will take place on Saturday while a number of underage finals are also scheduled to be played next weekend.

THE LAST POINT: A REAL CLASH OF DYNASTIES IN CONNACHT GOLD LEITRIM SFC FINAL

The game ended in a 0-14 to 1-11 draw, Ballinamore's goal when Wayne McKeon's speculative long range ball into the Mohill goalmouth three minutes into Sunday's final deceived Mohill keeper Padraig Tighe and ended up in the net. That left Ballinamore 1-1 to no score ahead at that stage but in a tense and absorbing final, Mohill clawed their way back into contention.

Mohill actually took the lead for the first time in the game, played before a bumper crowd in Ballinamore, 49 minutes into the action when Jack Rowley scored, a Keith Beirne free seconds later putting the defending champions two up but three placed balls from Honeyman (2) and McKeon edged O'Heslins back in front before Murphy's dramatic equaliser.
