Leitrim fans will have wait another 24 hours to see Steven Poacher's team in action after the GAA announced that today's (Saturday January 25) clash with Laois in Ballinamore has been postponed for 24 hours due to the weather.
With the county covering in a light sheet of snow and the effects of Storm Éowyn still being felt around the country, the GAA announced at 9.30am that today's game would not take place and that it would be rescheduled for Sunday with the situation being monitored throughout the day.
In the statement, Croke Park said "Please note that the Allianz Football League Roinn 3 fixture between Liatroim and Laois has been rescheduled for 14:00 tomorrow, Sunday, January 26th, due to electrical issues caused by Storm Éowyn. The situation will be monitored throughout the day in advance of the game tomorrow."
