Ballinamore hosts Connacht Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others Festival of Football

Mná le Chéile Ballinamore, in proud partnership with the Connacht LGFA, is beyond excited to host the Connacht Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others Festival of Football 2025 - a day packed with fun, fitness, friendship, and the unbeatable spirit of women supporting women! And for the first time ever, this amazing festival is coming to County Leitrim!

We’re honoured to welcome teams from across Connacht to Ballinamore for a celebration like no other. This isn’t just about football - it’s about community, confidence, and creating memories that will last long after the final whistle blows.

Here’s What’s in Store:

  • Feel-good, no-pressure football games for women of all fitness levels
  • A live DJ bringing the beats all day long
  • Music and dancing to keep spirits high and hips moving
  • Face painting (for little ones and the young at heart)
  • Delicious food and refreshments to fuel the fun
  • Non-stop laughter, plenty of cheering, and a whole lot of craic!

And when the games are done… the party’s just getting started! Join us for the post-match celebrations in Ballinamore – a chance to kick off the boots, let your hair down, and dance into the evening with friends old and new.

Where: Páirc Seán O Heslin, Ballinamore GAA Grounds, Co. Leitrim

When: Saturday 21st June

No pressure, no scoreboards – just good vibes, great company, and the beautiful game! Whether you're lacing up your boots or cheering from the sidelines, this is a day not to be missed! So gather your gang, pack your dancing shoes, and come celebrate the power of women, sport, and community. Gaelic, giggles, and great times await!
