The ability to drive a golf ball accurately and straight into the hole could see one lucky person drive away with a brand new Audi A3 thanks to a unique prize at this year's Fenagh St Caillins GAA & LGFA Golf Classic in Ballinamore Golf Club on Saturday August 23.

Fenagh GAA & LGFA want you to join us as we launch our Golf Classic and Park Development draw to fundraise towards the ongoing redevelopment of our GAA facilities. With our main sponsor for the golf classic, Jones Engineering, you have a chance to win a new Audi A3, with a hole-in-one on the Par 3 7th and other prizes on the day. We also have €8,000 in prizes with our Club Development Draw.

In 2022 a major ‘Oskar’ fundraiser was undertaken by a fundraising committee under the guidance of the Executive of Fenagh GAA and Park Development Committee with an objective of upgrading the current GAA facilities and enhancing accessibility for both the local community and the wider GAA community.

Following on from a community survey regarding proposed works and usage of facilities at the grounds Fenagh GAA sought Planning Permission for the new development works at Páirc Seán Ó Laodain which included the following:

  • Phase 1 - Provision of a new digital scoreboard & new walking track around main pitch with bollard lighting
  • Phase 2 - Upgrade of existing pitch and floodlights around the main pitch
  • Phase 3 - Development of a modern new two-storey Clubhouse, a two storey extension to the existing dressing rooms which will consist of a main entrance foyer, a multi-purpose room, an accessible toilet, male and female toilets and a storage area on the ground floor. A Gym & fitness suite, changing rooms and toilets on the first floor of the two-storey extension. The Development also includes a single story extension to the rear of existing dressing rooms incorporating dressing rooms and showers/ public accessible toilets and plant room as well as upgrading of existing dressing rooms

Planning permission for this ambitious project by Fenagh St Caillins was granted in late 2023 and is the first major infrastructure project carried out by the Club since 1985 when the grounds were initially constructed.

Phase 1 works are now completed with Phase 2 due for completion in the coming weeks. Phase 3 works on the new building have recently commenced and are due to be completed in 2026.

Fenagh GAA & Fenagh LGFA have now launched the Club Golf Classic along with the Park Development draw to help fundraise towards the completion of the park facilities.

The Golf Classic will be held on Saturday August 23, in Ballinamore Golf Club, with our main sponsor Jones Engineering. You have the opportunity to win a New Audi A3, with a hole-in-one on the Par 3 7th and other prizes on the day.

Team of four entry fee is €200, Corporate Tee Box Sponsorship is €500 and ‘Sponsor a Green’ €200. For bookings email clgfiodhnach@gmail.com
