Two massive derbies are on the horizon in the Connacht Gold Leitrim SFC after champions Mohill were drawn to face Fenagh St Caillins in the third round of the Connacht Gold Leitrim Senior Championship while group leaders Leitrim Gaels will host a St Mary's Kiltoghert team who are now facing a massive battle to reach the quarter-finals.

St Mary's will travel to take on their fellow parishioners Leitrim Gaels while Mohill are also on the road to take on Fenagh - a win for Fenagh would almost certainly guarantee them a place in the knockout stages. Aughawillan have been drawn at home to face Glencar Manorhamilton while Ballinamore Sean O'Heslins host Melvin Gaels.

With the permutations of the third round draw, it means that the final round draw has also been completed without the need for a draw as the previous meetings between teams means that only set games can take place under the competitions' format.

St Mary's Kiltoghert can only host Ballinamore in the final round as O'Heslins will have played all of the other three teams who are away from home this week, having lost to Mohill, defeated Glencar Manorhamilton and facing Melvin Gaels in the third round.

The knock-on effect of that means Aughawillan will face Mohill in the final round, both teams level on two points after two games and with Leitrim Gaels having already defeated Melvin Gaels in the first round, they can only play Glencar Manorhamilton in the final round so Melvin Gaels will host Fenagh St Caillins in round 4.

In the Smith Monumentals IFC, presumptive favourites Allen Gaels will travel to face St Mary's Kiltoghert's second string while Annaduff host St Patrick's Dromahair, both teams with a win under their belts after the weekend. Gortletteragh will host Carrigallen after both lost first round games while Drumkeerin, fresh from an 11 point win over Kiltubrid, make the short journey to Ballinaglera in another derby clash.

ROUND-UP: LEITRIM GAELS HOLD OFF BEIRNE INSPIRED MOHILL

Kiltubrid will host last year's Junior Champions Bornacoola in the second round of games.

Dates and venues will be announced by the Leitrim CCC shortly.
