St Clare’s of Manorhamilton and Carrigallen Community School claimed Connacht titles this week in the Junior C and Junior E Divisions.
St Clare’s Comprehensive School’s senior team claimed the Connacht Junior C PPS title over Dunmore Community School of Galway yesterday.
The All-Ireland Junior C PPS champions took the title with a 4-11 to 0-14 win in challenging weather conditions in Bekan.
St Clare’s enjoyed All-Ireland colleges success earlier this year with a victory over Ennistymon CBS to lift the Masita All-Ireland PPS Senior C Championship title.
Meanwhile, Carrigallen Vocational School claimed the PPS Junior E Championship yesterday with a victory over Clarin College, Athenry.

The south Leitrim side came out 2-10 to 2-6 victors in a match played on a wet and windy day at the Connacht Centre of Excellence.
The match was preceded by a moment’s silence for Shane Carrigy’s untimely passing as a mark of condolence to the Carrigy family and in memory of Shane's generosity and support of CVS sports teams over the years.
