This year’s Leitrim GAA County Board Convention will see two contests with the main interest being the contest between incumbent treasurer Martin McCartin who is being challenged for the post by current Vice Chairman Joe Cox.
Drumreilly clubman Martin McCartin, who has served in the Treasurer’s role since 2017, will face Annaduff’s Joe Cox, who was elected as Vice Chairman in December 2022, in the contest at this year’s Convention which will be held in The Bush Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon on Wednesday December 17, 7pm start-time.
The only other contest also features Joe Cox with Eslin’s Adrian McCaffrey being nominated for the role of Vice Chairman along with incumbent Joe Cox.
There will be one other change on the board with Gortletteragh’s Aoife Keenan succeeding Brendan Doyle in the renamed Communications Officer role, previously PRO. Otherwise, it will be as you are with Chairman Declan Bohan and Secretary Attracta O’Reilly standing unopposed.
