Manager Enda Lyons names Leitrim panel for Dalata Hotels Connacht U20 Championship

Manager Enda Lyons has named a 30-strong squad for the upcoming Dalata Hotels Connacht U20 Football Championship with Leitrim opening their campaign with a home game on Wednesday March 25, against Galway.

Fifteen clubs are represented in the squad with Glencar Manorhamilton having the biggest contingent with five players followed by St Mary’s Kiltoghert and Fenagh St Caillins who both have three players each in the final squad announced by manager Lyons.

Six members of Steven Poacher’s Senior team squad are included in the squad with starters Eanna McNamara (Aughavas), Paul Honeyman (Ballinamore Sean O’Heslins) and Jack Kelly (Glencar Manorhamilton) joined by Bailey McBride (Glencar Manorhamilton) and Fenagh St Caillins duo Ruairi O’Rourke & Colm McLoughlin (Fenagh St Caillins).

In addition to the six Senior squad members, a further 12 members of the squad saw action for the Leitrim Senior team in January’s FBD Insurance Connacht League Plate Final with Oran Foley, Dessie Wisely, Dara Greenan, Adam Gethins, Cormac Moran, Luke Braam Farrel, Gavin Gallagher, Joey McBrien, Hugh Bracken, Oisin Molloy, Sean Carolan Morris & Charlie Kearney all playing against London.
