Manorhamilton hurlers won’t have too long to rest on their laurels as they go straight into Connacht Club action next Monday, October 29, when they take on Calry St. Joseph’s in the Provincial Junior Championship.
The Sligo Champions have had the upper hand in recent years and next Monday’s meeting in Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada (2.30 throw-in) is a great chance for the new Leitrim champions to build on their break-through last Saturday.
Both teams will be familiar with each other through the Sligo Leagues and Manorhamilton will be hoping that “home” advantage may give them an edge in what is sure to be a close encounter.
