As the Connacht Gold Senior Championship and the GWP Intermediate Championship reach the semi-final stage, this weekend promises to be a mouth watering one for football fans in the county.

After their replay win over Annaduff last Saturday evening, Aughawillan secured the final place in the Senior Championship semi-final and immediately after that game the draw was made for the semi-finals.

Melvin Gaels and Glencar/Manorhamilton were drawn in separate games meaning the possibility of the first ever all north Leitrim final is still very much a possibility.

The Senior Championship semi-finals which will take place in Pairc Sean MacDiarmada are as follows:

Glencar/Manorhamilton v St Mary’s (throw-in 5pm)

Aughawillan v Melvin Gaels (throw-in 6.30pm)

The GWP Intermediate Championship semi-finals will take place on Saturday in Ballinamore and are as follows:

Aughnasheelin v Dromahair (throw-in 5pm)

Gortletteragh v Glenfarne Kiltyclogher (throw-in 6.30)
