Centre back Gary Reynolds is very much looking forward to taking on Galway next Sunday in his first ever Championship meeting with the Tribesmen.

“This game against Galway is a great opportunity for us to show how much fitter and sharper we’ve become since the League. There’s a great buzz in the camp and we’re ready to unleash that against Galway on Sunday.

“It’s something of an unknown quantity, we’ve only met Galway in the FBD League and that’s not a fair measure of any team going into championship so it’s great to get a chance at one of the big two. We’re looking to start well, keep things competitive in the early stages and build on from that.The younger lads who came in have brought a new sense of energy as well so we’re all really enjoying our football. Hopefully with the bit of local support we might get the upper hand on Galway.”
